Within the ArtShow app you can organise and attribute pictures using Artists and Collections.
Artists
Within the app you can create Artist profiles and attribute pictures to a that artist.
To create an artist you can can access “Artists” from the side menu and select “Add new Artist“. You can also create a new Artist profile by clicking on the “+” icon on the Gallery tab top panel.
Creating an Artist’s profile gives you the opportunity to add the following information:
- Artist Name
- Artist Profile Picture (Upload one or use camera)
- Artist Date of Birth
- Select a Colour Scheme
When you create an Artist they will appear with their own tab on the Gallery homepage. You can manage and edit Gallery tabs in Settings as needed.
Once created, the Artist will be available to select when you edit the Details of any Picture.
Artist Page
To view the Artist’s artwork or manage their Artist profile, you can open their page via “Artists” in the side menu. When viewing the Artist’s page, use the three dot menu to:
- Edit Artist details
- Download Portfolio – All Pictures attributed to this Artist may be downloaded
- Delete Artist – This will delete both the Artist and their artwork.
Collections
You can also create Collections within the app and place pictures into one or more Collections.
To create a collection you can can access “Collections” from the side menu and select “Add new Collection“. You can also create a new Collection by clicking on the “+” icon on the Gallery tab top panel.
Creating a Collection gives you the opportunity to add the following information:
- Collection Name
- Select a colour scheme
When you create a Collection it will appear with its own tab on the Gallery homepage. You can manage and edit Gallery tabs in Settings as needed.
Once created, the Collection will be available to select when you edit the Details of any Picture. You can add a single picture to any number of Collections.
Collection Page
To view a Collection of pictures you can open the Collection page via “Collections” in the side menu. When viewing the Collection page, use the three dot menu to:
- Edit Collection
- Download Portfolio – All Pictures within this Collection will be downloaded
- Delete Collection – This will delete the Collection but not the Pictures.
